INETRNATIONAL MEDICAL COLLEGE
International Medical College (IMC) began its journey in 2000 with 21 students in the first session in 1999-2000, and the number of students enrolled now is 130 in the 2021-2022 session. At present, IMC has 773 students in MBBS.
IMC successfully enrolled 125 students for the last session against 125 approved seats. Among them, 69 are local, including 6 in the category of non-solvent meritorious quota and 56 are foreign students. Among the 69 local students, 29 are male and 40 are female, and out of the 56 foreign students, 37 are male and 19 are female, making a total of 65 male and 60 female students. This year, all foreign students are Indian and Nepalese nationality.
IMC currently has 718 students enrolled in its MBBS program. There are 424 Bangladeshi and 294 foreigners among them. In total, we have 408 male and 310 female students.
There are 954 doctors who have graduated from this university. Among them were 831 Bangladeshi, 47 Nepalese, and 76 Indians.
Total number of students accommodated in hostels: Male- 354 among them 159 Bangladeshis and 195 Indians. Female: 289, among them 179 Bangladeshi, 108 Indians, and 02 Nepalese.
Number of Books and Journals in the College Library: Books: 2945; Journals: 1600.
